But I must warn you… the site needs aeons to load ( Malaysian server ), and the text is in German only.
I couldn´t find any English report about this new bar fine rule, so I translated this one for you.

Here it goes:

“BAR-FINE SISTER ME” …A NEW ECONOMIC STIMULUS PLAN
PM Abhisit agreed to finance minister Korn´s suggestion and allowed the cabinet to initiate a third economic stimulus plan
With immediate effect, the barfine for “sister me” has to be payed too !
After tax reliefs and various investments in mega large-scale projects, the third economic stimulus package has to show immediate effect now and will affect all bars in Thailand.
The package carries the name of “Bar-Fine Sister Me”.
By a new law, foreigners are forced to pay the bar fine for two girls, even if they want to barfine one girl only.
According to the bar fine itself, finance minister Korn hopes for additional revenues of 100%.
“The fact that the barfine must be paid to Sister Me too, will result in a situation where tourists wouldn´t have any other possibility than taking two girls instead of one out of the bar !” Korn says “So, the barfine which is around 300 or 700 THB depending on the establishment will be doubled !”
Furthermore Korn sees a good opportunity not in financial aspects only.
As a side effect, even those “love fools” who are normally too shy to barfine two girls at the same time will get their chance:
“The new law will create a win - win situation for all participants ! There will be no losers at all !”
Beside this, the new law would help those bargirls to get an additional income, who sit deedless in the bar, waiting for tourists who might not have come to Thailand at all.
“Even if the barfine for Sister Me has been paid only because the new law dictates it, the bar collects the double barfine and Sister Me will get her deal, which she will in her consumerism bring to supermarkets and snack stalls immediately – even her deal is 100 THB only !” Korn says with great enthusiasm for his own idea.
“Every little helps !” he says in conclusion.
There is still no response from bargirls and bar owners at present.

The question is: Is this a hoax or is it true ?

Hope you´ll make it down to Pattaya, because once again it looks like that I´m not going anywhere else.
After all the trouble at work in the past few weeks and months, I´m just happy to get away from Krautland and to hang around at Jomtien Beach by day and in bars by night... getting pampered well by some girls.

I've only taken 2 girls from that bar and each alone...sadly the stock there is not to my taste most of the time.

Just like anywhere else... imho... sometimes good, sometimes bad... it doesn´t matters to me, because I´m the type of man who just likes to sit in a bar sometimes... not every night being on search for a girl to barfine.
So, it´s a good place to go... no strings attached at all !

Yup... sometimes I stop there on my way back from Jomtien Beach around 5:30pm... for a beer or two and for watching the world passing by... unless the restless SamSongTom wants to go somewhere else in Soi 7 or Soi 8, where the girls are in party mood already.

It´s more than hoax: It´s a joke !
"Thailand Tip" has used this text for their satire page...
